Project Engineer
Job Description
Provide research and identify opportunities for plastic and aluminum raw material used in components including eAxle, Electronic Stability Control, Brake System, and Composite Leaf Spring.
Support suppliers with program-related drawings and designs issues related to material composition.
Assist suppliers to reduce cost and meet target price during quotation, including alternatives to raw material used for mechanical components.
Assist suppliers to solve quality issues during production related to composite mixture and interaction. Research and analyze new and emerging technology in material engineering to recommend modifications and optimization tactics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering or Polymer Engineering with 5 month experience as Materials or Project or Automotive Engineer or Intern.
